Saucy Cranberry Meatballs

INGREDIENTS |
- 2 pounds ground turkey

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup fine dry bread crumbs

1 (1-ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
-
1 (16-ounce) can whole-berry cranberry sauce
-
1 cup ketchup
-
1 cup brown sugar
-
1 (16-ounce) can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained

1 cup water

INSTRUCTIONS |
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, eggs, bread crumbs, and soup mix. Form into meatballs, using approximtely 2 tablespoons of mixture for each. Arrange meatballs in a single layer in a 9-x-13-x-2-inch baking dish. Combine cranberry sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, sauerkraut, and water in a medium bowl. Mix well. Pour sauce over meatballs. Bake until bubbling, about 1 hour. Yield: Six to eight servings. |
