Gallo Pinto

INGREDIENTS |
- 1 cup cooked rice

1 cup cooked beans

1 small onion, chopped

1 small sweet pepper, chopped

2 cloves garlic, chopped

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
-
4 tablespoons Salsa Lizano (or Worcestershire sauce)

Pinch of black pepper
-
1 tablespoon powdered bouillon

INSTRUCTIONS |
Fry onion, sweet pepper, garlic, and cilantro in the vegetable oil for about three minutes. Pour in the beans and add the sauce, black pepper, and bouillon. Cook for a few minutes, but don’t let it dry out. Pour in the cooked rice and mix well. Serve with sour crean, sliced tomatoes, and eggs (fried or scrambled). |
