Chinese Green Bean Salad

INGREDIENTS |
- 1 (15-ounce) can French-cut green beans

1 (8-ounce) can English peas

1 (15-ounce) can Chinese vegetables

1 small jar diced pimiento

1 (4-ounce) can sliced

mushrooms
-
1 cup finely sliced celery
-
1 medium onion, sliced in rings

3/4 cup sugar
-
3/4 cup vinegar
-
Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS |
Drain vegetables. Combine all ingredients except sugar and vinegar. Bring sugar and vinegar to a boil. Pour over vegetables and refrigerate overnight. Yield: 12 or more servings. |
