Cakes and Pies - Peanut Ice Cream Pie



INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups graham crackers, crushed
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2/3 cup dry roasted peanuts, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS
Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and butter; press firmly into bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Refrigerate until chilled.

Press half of softened ice cream into pie crust. In a small bowl, mix syrup and peanut butter. Drizzle half on softened ice cream and sprinkle half of nuts. Repeat layers. Freeze until firm.
