Desserts - Corn Pudding



INGREDIENTS
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 large can evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ¼ stick butter or margarine
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring

INSTRUCTIONS
Cream eggs and sugar; add milk and cornstarch. Beat well. Add corn and vanilla; mix well. Melt butter and pour in bottom of a casserole dish. Add corn mixture and bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
The cook says: This recipe is from the Great Depression and World War II. My father dearly loved this wonderful dish.
