Stuffings and Dressings - Squash Dressing



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups yellow squash, cooked and mashed
  • 2 cups crumbled cornbread
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • Pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
Melt butter and sauté onion. Mix together with all ingredients. Place in greased casserole dish and bake at 375º for 30 minutes or until brown.
