Meats & Seafood - Seafood Fettuccine

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 8 ounces imitation crabmeat, broken into pieces
  • 8 ounces medium shrimp, cleaned, deveined, and cooked
  • 1 (12- to 16-ounce) package fettuccine, cooked according to package directions

Heat oil in medium frying pan; add garlic and sauté 1 minute. Add broth and seasonings. Stir in imitation crabmeat and shrimp; cook until heated through for 3 to 5 minutes. Spoon over fettuccine; garnish with sprigs of parsley. If desired, sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
