Fruits and Vegetables - Vegetable Bake



INGREDIENTS
  • 3 cups cauliflower, chopped into 1 inch pieces
  • 3 cups broccoli, chopped into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup corn chips (any flavor), crushed
  • 1 (101/2-ounce) can cream of celery
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (2.8-ounce) can french-fried onions

INSTRUCTIONS
Parboil cauliflower and broccoli until almost tender. Drain and place in a mixing bowl. Add garlic powder, black pepper, crushed chips, cream of celery soup, milk, salt, and butter. Mix thoroughly.
Pour mixture into a casserole pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350°. Remove from oven and spread the french-fried onions over top. Sprinkle cheese over onions and place casserole back in oven. Bake for 10 more minutes or until cheese is melted.
