Breads, Rolls, and Muffins - Sour Cream Muffins



INGREDIENTS
  • 11/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine flour and sugar; add beaten egg, vanilla, and butter. Mix together. Add sour cream, then fold in chocolate chips.
Fill muffin cups and bake at 350ยบ for 15-18 minutes. The sour cream makes these muffins very moist and delicious!
Variation: Use this same recipe and substitute the chocolate chips for blueberries for another delicious muffin! Any fruit could be substituted.
