Breads, Rolls, and Muffins - Cajun Cornbread



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 pound sausage, hot or mild
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 pound grated cheese
  • 1 (17-ounce) can whole-kernel corn
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes with green chilies

INSTRUCTIONS
Brown sausage and drain grease. Mix all ingredients. Pour mixture into a greased 9-x-12-inch glass baking dish. Bake at 350ยบ for one hour. Cut into squares and serve.
