Meats & Seafood - Sea Island Shrimp

  • 2 pounds uncooked shrimp in shell, unpeeled
  • 2 sticks butter, melted
  • 1 (12-ounce) can beer
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 loaf French bread

Preheat oven to 350ยบ. Place uncooked shrimp in 9-x-13-inch pan. Combine all ingredients and pour over shrimp. Place, uncovered, in oven. After 15 minutes, remove pan and stir. Return to oven for 15 more minutes. Place shrimp in a large serving bowl. Fill a cup with juice from shrimp mixture. Guests peel shrimp themselves. Serve with crusty French bread to dip into sauce.
