Recipe of the Month Meats & Seafood - Barbecued Meatballs



INGREDIENTS
  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons chili seasoning
  • Sauce:
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

INSTRUCTIONS
Mix meatball ingredients together and shape into two-inch balls. No more than two layers thick, Place in loaf pan or baking dish.
Combine sauce ingredients and heat to boiling. Pour over meatballs and bake at 350° for one hour or until done.
