The BBI Cricket Ag and Turf is a 2-3 ton (64 cubic feet struck)  fertilizer and lime spreader designed for precision dry material application. The Cricket Ag and Turf provides an affordable and dependable option to meet those needs.  Cricket Ag and Turf requires only a 30-40 horsepower tractor to pull it. With a narrow wheel track width, it can be maneuvered through narrow paths. Wide flotation tires are standard to minimize compaction. A standard 16” stainless steel mesh chain for fertilizer or lime is powered by a ground wheel drive. The spinners are powered by a PTO shaft and can also be powered by tractor supplied hydraulics. Built on a heavy duty 12,000 lb. axle, The Cricket effectively manages the rough terrain it may encounter.

Model Specs
** GROUND WHEEL DRIVE:  External ground wheel driven by traction against the tire.  As the spreader is pulled, the ground wheel transfers power from the rotating tires to the conveyor.
** CAPACITY:  64 cu ft struck
** CONVEYOR:  16" wide, 304 Stainless Steel Mesh Chain Conveyor or Bar Chain with two speeds of "Low" and "High" Application Rates.  Ground Wheel Driven.
** SPINNERS:  Twin 24" diameter Spinners that are driven by the PTO.  Spinner drive systems are also available in tractor supplied Hydraulic Drive.
** State of the Art - ELECTROSTATIC PAINT:  Carbon unit is totally primed with a rust-inhibiting alkyd primer and then top-coated with high gloss enamel.  Stainless unit includes all mild carbon steel parts primed and painted.    Color options include red, blue, yellow, black or green.  Some custom colors are available.
** SUSPENSION AND WHEELS:  12,000 lb rigid single-axle 16.5 x 16.1 10 ply tires.  W16C x 16.1 Ag type wheels, 8-Bolt hubs.
