Product Details
Our high ground
clearance 5 ton fertilizer – 7 ton lime spreader designed for precision
application of top dressings and row cropping. A rounded payload capacity of 180
cu, ft. (6.7 cu. yds.), the stainless steel or carbon steel hopper is 9 ft. long
and 8 ft. wide with 45 degree angle of repose sides. The ground clearance is 23”
with standard 21.5 x 16.1 Flotation tires, minimizing compaction. Higher ground
clearance can be achieved with optional 11.25 x 28 tires. A ground wheel drives
the 16” stainless steel mesh chain for a spread rate automatically adjusting
with travel speed. Spinners are powered by a PTO. or tractor supplied
hydraulics.

traction against the tire. As the spreader is pulled, the
ground wheel transfers power from the rotating tires to the
conveyor.

** State of the Art
- ELECTROSTATIC PAINT: Carbon unit is totally primed with a
rust-inhibiting alkyd primer and then top-coated with high gloss
enamel. Stainless unit includes all mild carbon steel parts
primed and painted. Color options include red,
blue, yellow, black or green. Some custom colors are
available.
** SUSPENSION AND WHEELS: 12,000 lb rigid
single-axle with "8 on 8" AG type hubs and spindles available in 68"
to 80" tread centers. Track width will be 72" Standard; 68" to
80" available upon request. 10 ply 21.5 x 16.1 Tires mounted
on 16C x 16.1 AG type wheels.
** SPINNERS: Twin 24"
diameter Spinners that are PTO driven. Spinner drive system is
