Bacon and Beans

Ingredients
- 1 (15-ounce) can pork and beans

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

1 1/2 teaspoons mustard

1/4 cup dark brown sugar

1 heaping tablespoon onion, chopped

1 pound bacon
Instructions
Combine all ingredients. Pour in a one-quart casserole dish. Top with enough bacon slices to cover top, cut into two-inch strips and placed as close together as possible.
Cover and bake at 350° F. for 1 1/2 hours. During the last 15 minutes of baking time, remove lid and punch bacon down in beans.
Note: This is best served when cooked one day and eaten the next. Recipe can be doubled or tripled, depending how many you’re feeding.
