Tomato Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 quart tomatoes
  • 8 to 10 biscuits
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions


Mix tomatoes, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Melt butter and add to other
ingredients. Pour in baking dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 400°.
Note: I brown the biscuits and add just before serving, but some like to bake the pudding with the biscuits.
