flour. Mix half of flour mixture into sugar mixture. Dissolve baking soda in water and add to flour and sugar mixture. Add vanilla and almond flavorings. Add remaining flour. Cover raisins in warm water and drain. Stir nuts, dates, and raisins into dough.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes or until done. Watch closely during baking. Cool and store in an airtight container.
