Apple Fritters

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour

1/4 cup sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/3 cup milk

1 egg

1 apple, chopped finely
Instructions
Mix together all dry ingredients, then stir in the milk and egg. Add the chopped apples and stir together to finish your dough. Heat approximately 1½ inches of oil in a large pot to 350º. Carefully drop in small blobs of the dough. If you get too much dough (more than a heaping teaspoon), the fritters won't cook all the way through. Cook about 2 minutes per side. Transfer fritters to a paper towel or a rack to drain and cook. Drizzle with powder sugar and milk glaze, if desired.
