Maple Cream sauce:
1 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup evaporated milk

Vanilla ice cream and chopped pecansInstructions
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar. Add eggs, one a a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in pecans. Spread into a greased 9-x-13-inch pan. Bake at 350ยบ for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
For sauce, combine syrup and butter in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for
three minutes. Remove from heat; stir in milk.
To serve, cut blondies into squares. Place on dessert plates with a scoop of ice cream. Top with sauce; sprinkle with pecans.
