Cook beans according to package directions, taking care not to overcook; drain excess water. Add remaining ingredients and gently stir until well mixed. Simmer on low heat until flavors are blended. Serve hot.
Garnish as desired with orange zest, parsley, bits of bell pepper, dusting of paprika, or topping of your choice.
