Peppermint Clouds

Ingredients
- 3 egg whites

½ teaspoon cream of tartar

¼ teaspoon salt

1/3 cup (2 ounces) crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
Beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar and salt; beat into soft peaks. Add sugar gradually, beating until mixture forms stiff peaks. Reserve 2 tablespoons crushed candy; fold remaining candy into egg white mixture.
Drop mixture by tablespoons onto parchment- or aluminum foil-lined cookie sheets.
