Chocolate Peppermint Patties

Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon peppermint extract

9 cups powdered sugar

Chocolate candy coating
Instructions
Mix cream cheese, extract, and powdered sugar together. Form into quarter-size patties. Chill for one hour in refrigerator.
Melt three to four squares of chocolate candy coating in the microwave 30 seconds at
a time until melted and smooth. (It may take more squares, but that’s the most that needs to be melted at one time.)
Remove patties from refrigerator and coat with chocolate. Allow them to firm up before eating.
