Appetizers -
Salsa
|
INGREDIENTS |
- 14 cups tomatoes, skinned and chunked

3 cups onions

2 cups green peppers

1/2 cup vinegar

2 tablespoons salt

11/2 teaspoons ground cumin

1 tablespoon chili powder
-
1 tablespoon garlic salt
-
2 tablespoons cilantro
-
1-2 jalapeño peppers (add a few seeds if you like it hot)

INSTRUCTIONS |
Mix all together and put in jars. Cold pack for 25 minutes in hot water bath. If you prefer thicker salsa, add 1 cup tomato juice and 4 tablespoons unflavored gelatin to ingredients before putting into jars. |
