Gobbler Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin
  • 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (18 1/4-ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/4cups butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup chopped nuts, optional
  • Instructions


    Mix first eight ingredients together; pour into an ungreased 13-x-9-x-2-inch baking pan. Sprinkle cake mix over top; drizzle with melted butter.
    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Top with nuts, if desired, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
    Yield: 15-16 servings.
