True Hot Dog Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 hot dogs, ground in food processor
  • cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • teaspoon cayenne pepper (more if you like it really hot)
  • teaspoon ground mustard
  • teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • Instructions


    Combine ingredients in a saucepan and cook over low heat for 20 to 30 minutes. Serve over favorite hot dog, cooked and served in bun.
    Yield: eight to 10 servings.
