Remove bones, skin, and fat from chicken and cut into strips. Cut asparagus into 2-inch strips. Cut onion into 2-inch slices. Press garlic.
Combine soy sauce, seasoned salt, and garlic; marinate chicken in mixture. Heat 1 tablespoon oil; add asparagus and cook for about three minutes or until done. Remove from pan. Add second tablespoon of oil and cook chicken and onion until done; remove from pan. Mix cornstarch and chicken broth together; pour into pan and cook until thickened. Add asparagus and chicken; heat through. Serve with rice.
