Onion Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can beef bouillon
  • 1 can consumme
  • 1 (7-ounce) can mushrooms with liquid

Instructions


In a saucepan, melt butter and then brown rice and onions. Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish and add bouillon, consummé, and mushrooms.
Bake at 350° for one hour. Stir twice during baking.
Yield: Six to eight servings.
