Holly Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 3 cups large marshmallows (42)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 21/2 teaspoons food coloring
  • 41/2 cups cornflakes

Instructions


Over low heat, melt butter and marshmallows. When completely melted, add vanilla and continue to simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add green food coloring. Fold in the cornflakes and spoon onto waxed paper or foil. Decorate with red hot candy. For a variation, use red food coloring and silver balls to decorate.
