Evelyn’s Party Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Dash or salt
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 baked pie shell
  • 3 bananas
  • Lemon juice
  • Whipped cream
  • Coconut and chopped nuts, optional
  • Instructions


    Mix and cook crushed pineapple, sugar, salt, and cornstarch until thickened; cool.
    Slice bananas into baked pie shell; sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning. Spread pineapple mixture over bananas. Cover with whipped cream; sprinkle with coconut and chopped nuts.
