Lou’s Summer Punch

Ingredients

  • 1/2 gallon apple juice
  • 1 (4-serving) size wild strawberry gelatin
  • 2 (0.13-ounce) packages strawberry Kool-Aid mix
  • 2 cups sugar (or to taste)
  • 3 cups hot water

Instructions


In a kettle, mix sugar, hot water, Kool-Aid, and gelatin. Bring to a boil or near boiling. Remove from heat.
Pour apple juice in a gallon container. Pour warm mixture in with apple juice. Mix well. Finish filling with water. Mix again and pour over crushed ice to serve.

Note: This punch is quick to fix — there's no freezing involved. It's very refreshing.
