Raisin-Apple Nutty Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • Cooking spray, regular or butter flavor
  • 1 loaf cinnamon raisin bread, cubed
  • 3 cups apples, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2½ cups milk, whole or
  • 2-percent
  • ½ cup sugar or Splenda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • Instructions


    Coat a 9-x-13-inch pan with cooking spray. Sprinkle bread cubes and apples evenly in pan. Mix eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Pour over bread and apples. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake at 325º for 40-50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes.
    Serve warm or cold with whipped topping or ice cream.
