Raisin-Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon orange extract
  • 2 egg whites
  • ½ cup seeded raisins
  • ½ cup pecans
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked
  • Instructions


    Beat egg yolks until light. Add sugar and butter; cream together. Add vinegar, spices, and orange extract; mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff; add to mixture. Fold in raisins and nuts. Pour in pie shell. Bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes.
