Smoothie or Low-Fat Milkshake

Ingredients

  • 2 ice cubes
  • 1 cup milk (I use 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup 2% cream)
  • 1/3 cup 2% cottage cheese
  • 2/3 cup frozen fruit of your choice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar or choice of sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions


Place all ingredients in a blender. Using the “chop” setting, blend mixture until well combined. Switch to “whip” and blend until smooth.
Yield: Two 8-ounce servings.
