Desserts - Fudge Pudding



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • Add to this mixture:
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • Sauce:
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 3/4 cups very hot water

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine first five ingredients. Add milk, vanilla, and butter. Pour mixture into buttered 9-x-13-inch dish. Mixture will be very thick.
Combine brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa and sprinkle over pudding mixture. Do not stir. Pour hot water over sauce; do not stir. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Note: This is wonderful served hot from the oven with ice cream.
