Breads, Rolls, and Muffins - Breakfast Pizza

  • 2 cups flour
  • 11/2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 pint pizza sauce
  • 1 pound sausage
  • 1 dozen large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons onion, chopped
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups pizza cheese, shredded

Mix flour, baking powder, salt, vegetable oil, and milk together. Press into a greased 10-x-15-inch cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes at 350°. Spread 1 pint pizza sauce onto baked crust.

Fry sausage; add eggs and scramble with sausage. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Spread over pizza sauce. Add mushrooms, onion, and green pepper. Bake for another 10 to 15 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Add cheese and allow it to melt into filling.

Note: This recipe is flexible and easily adaptable to whatever ingredients you like.
