Sandwiches - Mozzarella Burgers



INGREDIENTS
  • 2 slices bread
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons burger seasoning
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 10 slices mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
In a bowl, break up bread in pieces. Pour milk over bread and set aside. Mix ground beef, burger seasoning, and shredded cheese. Add in bread mixture with salt and pepper to taste, mixing well. Pat out burgers and put on a pan lined with parchment paper. Cook on grill or in the oven. When burgers are done on one side, place sliced cheese on top of the cooked side and cook slow. Top with sautéed onion and mushrooms, if desired.
