Salads - Apple Salad



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 carton whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 4 large yellow apples
  • 1 (20-ounce) can pineapple
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • Red maraschino cherries for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS
Mix flour and sugar well. Stir into whipping cream. Add pineapple.
Cook in a double boiler until thick. Remove from heat and add butter; cool.
While cooling, peel and dice apples. Add apples and nuts to cooked mixture and stir well. Top with cherries.
