Appetizers - Watermelon Fire and Ice Salsa



INGREDIENTS
  • 3 cups watermelon, seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon green onion, chopped
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons jalapeño pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients; mix well. Cover and refrigerate at least one hour. Yield: 3 cups.

Serving tips: Serve on sliced oranges, cheese-filled manicotti, corn, or potato chips. You can even top 1 cup sour cream with 1 cup salsa and serve with chips.
