Soups - Chili Mac



INGREDIENTS
  • 2 1/2 cups uncooked macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 6 tablespoons chopped onion (1 medium onion)
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • Dash pepper
  • 3 cups canned tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 cup grated American cheese

INSTRUCTIONS
Cook macaroni in salted, boiling water until tender. Drain.
Put oil in a large skillet. Add onions and cook until tender. Add ground beef, salt, and pepper; cook until meat is browned. Add macaroni, tomatoes and chili powder. Pour mixture into 9-x-13-x-2-inch greased baking dish. Top with cheese and bake at 400ยบ for 20 to 25 minutes.
