Fruits and Vegetables - Fried Greens



INGREDIENTS
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 small red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 (24-ounce) bag mustard or turnip greens, washed and chopped
  • 2 cups rice, cooked and drained

INSTRUCTIONS
Fry bacon until crisp and break into pieces; set bacon aside. Add onions and peppers to drippings and fry until tender. Add greens and cook until tender. Serve over rice, and sprinkle bacon pieces on top.
