Fruits and Vegetables - Mushroom Puffs

  • 2 (8-ounce) tubes refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (4-ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Poppy seeds

Unroll crescent rolls, keeping two triangles together to form a rectangle; roll very flat. Cream softened cheese. Mix in mushrooms and seasoned salt.
Place equal amounts of cheese mixture on long end of each crescent rectangle. Roll up like a jelly roll; slice each into into six pieces, pinching ends together. Brush top of each piece with egg; sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake at 350ยบ for 15 minutes.
