Salads - Mix-and-Eat Tomato Bread Salad



INGREDIENTS
  • 6 slices bread (or cornbread), torn into bits
  • 2 fresh tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cucumbers, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red wine vineger
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Dash black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS
In a medium mixing bowl, toss together the bread, tomatoes, cucumber, and onion.
Drizzle with red wine vineger and olive oil. Add basil and pepper. Toss until well mixed. Allow mixture to stand one hour before eating.
