Iron Skillet Barbecue Chicken

  • 1 (2 1/2- to 3-pound) chicken, cut in pieces
  • 1 (18-ounce) bottle commercial barbecue sauce
  • 1 (12-ounce) can Coke
  • 1 cup catsup


Brown chicken pieces lightly in a small amount of oil in a large iron skillet. Combine all remaining ingredients in a separate bowl. Mix well. Pour over chicken. Bake in skillet at 350° F. for one hour or until chicken is tender.
