Fried Cauliflower

  • 1 head cauliflower, cored and separated into florets
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon whole cumin seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 cup peanut oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Steam cauliflower for five minutes; drain. Combine eggs, milk, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Place cumin seeds in an ungreased skillet and toast over medium heat. Shake the skillet until
