Cake in the Snow

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (8-ounce) container whipped topping
  • 1 (1 1/2-pound) prepared angel food cake, ready-made or baked from an 18-ounce
  • mix
  • 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling

Instructions


Beat cream cheese and sugar; set aside. Add whipped topping to cream cheese mixture. Cut or tear angel food cake into 1/2-inch slices.
Place in a 13-x-9-inch dish then layer with cream cheese mixture, making two layers of each. Top with cherry pie filling. Chill at least one day before serving.
