Sausage Chili

  • 1 (1-pound) package sausage
  • 1 pound ground venison or beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 3 (14-ounce) cans tomatoes
  • 2 (15-ounce) cans hot chili beans
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder


Brown sausage and venison or beef with onion and pepper in a large skillet; drain. Place in a large pan and add chili powder and garlic. Stir in beans and tomatoes. Bring to a boil and simmer for 25 minutes. Serve with cornbread.
