Surf and Turf Rice

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound seafood legs (such as crab meat)
  • 2 cups rice, cooked
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Instructions


    Saute vegetables in butter; remove and set aside. Fry beef and add seasonings. Mix all ingredients together and cook uncovered over medium to low heat for 10 minutes. Yield: Six servings.
