White Hot Chocolate

  • 3 cups light cream
  • 2/3 cup vanilla baking chips
  • 3 inches stick cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • Ground nutmeg or cinnamon (optional)


Combine 1/4 cup light cream, vanilla chips, stick cinnamon, and 1/8 teaspoon
nutmeg in a medium saucepan; whisk over low heat until chips are melted.
Remove cinnamon stick. Add remaining cream. Whisk until heated thoroughly; remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla and almond extracts.
Serve warm in mugs. Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon if desired.
