Sugarless Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 (12-ounce) can frozen unsweetened apple juice
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup sugar substitute
  • 5 cups sliced apples
  • 2 ready-to-fill deep-dish pie crusts
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • Instructions


    Cook apple juice and cornstarch until thick. Add salt, spices, and sugar substitute; mix in apple slices. Pour into one pie shell and place second pie shell over top. Press edges together with a fork. Top with butter and bake at 375° until brown.
    Note: You may use other fruit.
    Yield: Eight servings with 150 calories per serving (with apples).
