Submitted By: Barbara Patton

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 drops hot sauce
  • 6 (3/4-inch thick) pork chops
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Instructions

In advance, combine honey, ketchup, chili sauce, green pepper, onion, vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce in a 2-quart saucepan. Cook over high heat until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer for 30 minutes. Pour sauce into glass bowl; cover and refrigerate.
When ready to grill, season pork chops with salt and pepper. Grill chops four inches from gray coals (medium heat), turning and basting often with marinade. Cook for one hour or until chops are no longer pink in center.
